it’s perpetual bliss[/font][/font][/I]
Nala's a new addition to Miami. She lived all of her life on West Point Military Base, with her mother and brother. The brother enlisted after 9/11 and has been classed POW/MIA for years. Her mother recently died of Brest Cancer, leaving the girl in the care of the foster system. An acquaintance from the base exacerbated her time in the system, breaking protocol to find the girl –not the best age for fostering- a home. She has become slightly jaded –but only slightly-, and the loss of her family is much more painful than she lets on, however she never lets anything crush her spirit. Nala has just arrived here, and is still learning the lay of the land. Her religious background and patriotic tendencies mesh with her sunny personality and love of music and the fact that she is almost constantly reading, to place her a little out of her comfort zone in the fast-paced town. She is academically between the level of a high school senior and a college freshman, because she has been home schooled all her life, but she's content to be a freshman. She's fun-loving, and a little wild, but adorably so. Nala has been adjusting well, staying below the radar, but that can’t last with all her eccentricities. She’s not your average teen.

O probably going to get along with most people, except those who find her nearly constant optimism irritating, or those who underestimate her.
O looking for friends, enemies, and love interests, although I'm waiting on a fun plot.
O ready for an adventure the likes of which she has never seen.[/ul]And I’d love all of these things to be possible.[/size]

Nals is more than competent at socializing with people much older than she is, and can handle mature conversations and situations perfectly fine. She's had loads of practice! So don't let an age difference scare you off. She’s open for nearly anything, but she will not do drugs, or have sex, unless the moment is right. She’s carefree and adventurous, and she’s looking to get into a little innocent trouble. I’m willing to throw her anywhere you want, into a plot looking for a character like her, or a plot we create. I want her to get some loving, but we’ll see.

nala + aaron

well, nala’s never had a problem meeting new people, with or without an age difference. and she’ll love the sibling-esque relationship, especially since draco’s not quite being familial right now. plus, having an older-brother figure will open up some old wounds about her brother, and will make her a little cautious. it’ll be fun. i can start a random thread somewhere, if you’d like to try that? and he could just happen upon her? she’s going to be an amateur street musician, so maybe he happens upon her there.

well nala’s not afraid of the bad-boy, or the reformed bad-boy, so that wouldn’t be a problem. she’s pretty forgiving, and open to all sorts of things and peoples. so . . . if you’d like to try something, im open to it. they could discuss their mothers’ deaths, they were bout the same age when they lost them. and, of course, the orphan concept. And. . . nala’s musically inclined, so that could be a starting point. maybe he could visit the street musician idea, if aaron doesn’t. im not sure what, either, but his bebe could start them off somehow. she loves kiddies. since she is one herself.

aiight, so basically i'm thinking these two would probably be kind of like friends? sort of? liah would grudgingly care about her, though she'd find her optimisim a little annoying at times. buttt, i suppose she'd be kind of like a big sister/mum type. i don't know, just some ideas XD

alexander and nala,

i also have alexander (: he's cute and friendly so i'm thinking he'd know nala through maybe his younger sister? maybe his younger sister and nala ar friends so she sometimes hangs out at his place and then he'd think of her as another little sister. plussss, his mother and father were killed in a hit and run and stuff.

kyden and nala,

these two have got to be almost sisters! they're both really optimistic and cute and sunny <3 so i'm thinking nala could come over some nights and these two could eat ice cream and watch the latest movies XD something like that haha.

nathan and nala,

nathan and nala. hmmm, i'm thinking that nathan tease her? in a good natured way of course, but he could ruffle her hair and stuff when she comes to visit alex at the car shop or something (alexander is a mechanic and so is nathan). just some ideas.

matthew and nala,

and then there's matthew. he's sweet, a dancer, he also plays the guitar and sings a bit so maybe he could know her through some college/highschool joint music thingo. something like that XD

well, nala loves everyone, so I’m sure she’d get along fine with liah. I’m a huge fan of grudgingly loving nala, because I’m sure she comes on rather strong. She’d love more family-type figures, cuz she’s gonna be lacking there till she manages to get draco to love her, and she’s used to a huge family back on base. She could use a motherly figure, and maybe liah can help her out with the awkward woman topics she can’t discuss with draco. if she ever ahs any. want to thread them?

she’ll definitely spend some time at his place, since draco’s not often home, and she’s not a fan of empty houses. she could meet him through his sister, and then end up becoming closer to him than her, because she’s always gotten along better with guys than girl, as a function of her life on a military base with mainly male recruits. since alexander’s sister is in school with nals, maybe they got saddled together for some project, but didn’t really form a lasting relationship. . . how do we want to go about doing this?

they should so be like besties. even though nals is little. she doesn’t have many close female friends, and could use some major girl time periodically. it would be fantastic. plus, ky could get her culturally acquainted with the world, since nals has sort of missed out. age difference has never been a problem. I think nals connects better with young adults and children than teens. we needs this!

she’d love some good natured teasing! and she would definitely visit the car shop often, since she knows nothing about automobiles. maybe she wants to learn. nathan could also be her go to guy for any mechanical problem she can’t figure out. of which there will be several. although she’s rather well versed, she also a little flighty when it comes to non-military grade technology. woo!
