At a quarter past five Noah finished replacing the heating and cooling system in a blue mustang GT. He took pride and time into working on such a car. They were fast and extremely expensive. Mustangs were a dream car to any guy, young or old. He was lucky enough to be working on such a high quality car. His worn out pick-up truck couldn't compare but Noah loved his baby. It may have looked old and beat-up but it was reliable, taking Noah threw almost every experience in his life. It was the first car he had ever bought with his own money, the first car he made love in with his first girlfriend, and the car that helped him escape from misery. Sometimes Noah called it his 'baby making machine' since it had not only happened once but twice. That was something he rarely told to anyone. It was personal and frankly he was still getting over his first lose and now he had to deal with his second accident. With his reputation, babies werent always the smartest thing to mention whether or not they applied to him.
After admiring his dream car and unwillingly accepting a large tip from the cars owner, who happened to be a rich widow, Noah decided to throw in the towel and call it a day. He had been on the clock since eight that morning and was more then done dealing with fixing cars and smug old men for the day. He walked into the break room, grabbing his phone and clean pair of clothes that he always kept with him. He glared down at the screen of his phone as he checked messages from people. Some from Abi wanting to talk and others from random people who wanted to hangout. On in particular showed the name of his buddy Jason, who he hadn't seen all week. The majority of his time was spent around women or parties and today he felt like having a bros day. Jas, my man. I just got off work. Come over to my place we can play some games or hit the clubs tonite. -Noah He texted then slid the phone into his back pocket. Noah kept his goodbyes to his coworkers to a minimum and punched out, heading out to his truck that was parked in back.
As he drove, he couldn't help but check his phone time and time again. Reading the text messages from Abi over and over. The last time they talked it was about their 'situation'. Despite the many women he had been with Noah grew close to Abi, building up emotions for her that he hadn't had for someone in awhile but then everything went topsy turvy on him when she claimed that she was pregnant. It was his mistake for not wanting to use a condom but he had he was always cautious, exempt this one time. Now he was faced with a problem that wasn't entirely new to him. Noah and his first love had a baby son together and it so happened to be one of the best moments in his life until his son suffered from a heart problem and died at six months. Ever since then he had done everything he could from running away to becoming an alcoholic to forget his past but now it seemed to be happening all over again.
This is what had been on Noah's mind all week and now all he wanted to do was go out, hoping to relieve come stress. He arrived out at his apartment and took a quick shower to wash the grease stains and odors from the shop. He threw on his clean pair of clothes and shut his bedroom door. It was habit when people came over. He was extremely messy when it came to his room and preferred not to reveal that to anyone, even if it was just his buddy who was coming over. Noah walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of beer, which was left over from the last party he had and mozzied his way onto the couch, pulling out the controllers to his x-box, every guys heaven. He switched on Halo and played as he waited for Jason to arrive. Tagged:: Jason Kingston Status:: Finished Word Count:: 753 Comments:: sorry it took so long

Jason woke up around eight in the morning like he usually did when he wasn't out late the night before. He had actually went to bed at 10:30pm, which was awfully early for Jason. But, he had been extremely tired. Waking up this morning wasn't a problem since he had slept so well. He had his usual big breakfast, then got ready to go to the gym. He went to the gym about three times a week. Basketball practice was just about enough workout everyday. Going to the gym was just an extra push. He drove to the gym and walked right in. He signed in and made his way to the treadmill first. He always liked to start off his workouts with a jog, then a run. After an hour on the treadmill, he moved on to everything else. The weights and other machines. He actually loved the gym. He rarely felt too lazy to go to the gym. He would have to be completely exhausted not to go. An hour and a half went by, and he was finally done. JD was ready to head home and shower. He wasn't all that tired like he usually was. He didn't like it, but didn't go on any other machines. He hoped in his car and pulled out of the parking lot. Just then he thought of something. The trails. They were a good place to go hang out since everyone went, but they would also be a good way to exercise. Jason thought of how he could jog along his favorite trail. He liked the idea. So, instead of heading towards his house, he headed towards the trails. He was glad he had thought of going there. Now, he'd feel more pleased with his workout today. Ten minutes later, pulled in and parked his car. He got out and took in a deep breath of fresh air. It was a good day for a jog. Finally, Jason was done for the day. No more working out, now he just wanted to relax. He went home and showered. Once he was all dressed and comfy, he thought of something. He hadn't hung out with Noah in a while, why not shoot him a text? But at the same time he was feeling hungry, so he figured he'd make himself a sandwich real quick, then text Noah. He got out everything and made the sandwich. Then, his phone vibrated. It was none other than Noah. Funny how he was just about to text him. He read the message and smirked. Dude, i say both. gimme an hour. He replied and shut his phone. He enjoyed his sandwich, then got up. JD wandered into his room and found an outfit that was more club-hopping-worthy. He put on the jeans, fitted top, sneakers, grabbed his car keys and was out the door. Jason made a stop and grabbed a medium pizza. He wasn't sure about how hungry Noah would be, but that sandwich hadn't filled him up like he thought it would. After waiting for the pizza, he walked back to his car with the pizza in hand. He placed it on the passenger's side, and continued on his way to Noah's place. He finally arrived. JD grabbed the pizza and walked up to Noah's front door. He let himself in since the door was unlocked. Jason walked in to find Noah playing Halo. He loved that game. Yooo. He said to his friend. "Starting without me, man?" He said smirking. "I don't know if your hungry, but i bought a pizza. Where should I put it?" He said raising the pizza box a little. notes: it's fine! sorry mines is a little suckishh.

Noah ignored all of his text messages expect the ones from Jason. He had many from other buddies telling him where the parties were at and some from the girls that were all over them. On a normal basis he would reply to them but this week had been a load full of drama for girls. He didn't need to be messing with the ones he knew right now. Which was why clubbing was an opportunity to mingle with unknown chicks. They didn't know his life story and they wouldn't. They were at the club for the same reason he was going to be there, so they weren't going to ask questions. They would just dance and throw away all the drama for the night. That's exactly what he needed. To get things out of his mind and just have fun. That was is motto and he needed to stick by it. As much as he needed not to ignore his problems right now, he was going to and Abi would just to deal with it until he found the right time to talk to her.
Noah glanced down at his phone, reading Jason's reply. He nodded with agreement, even though Jase couldn't see it and slipped his phone back into his pocket. Good things about bro's night was that they didn't need answers and they didn't need to know why you were having problems. Guys weren't like chicks always spilling out their secrets. Instead they stuck to video games and dumbass shit to keep them occupied and worry-free. It would be Noah that got himself into trouble. All his friends new that. He was a player that enjoyed partying and it was unlike him to not have a girl by his side. Noah knew how people saw him, how they judged him, especially Abi but most of the time he didn't care. It was one of the only things that kept his past off his mind and as long as he was happy doing it, then it was all good. To be honest very few people knew his past, like Jason but they never talked about it, which was good on Noah's part.
So, Noah sat down to every guys heaven, video games. He placed his feet on top of the coffee table as he slouched back against the couch, wrinkling the nice shirt he was wearing (minus the hat and necklace). Either way he knew once he and Jason walked into the clubs, their shirts were the last thing anyone would have to worry about. Noah peered to wards the door as he swung open. He kept it unlock for that purpose. He was just to lazy to get up and open the door for anyone. "No worries. I'll get a new game goin." He smirks as he restarts the game. "I'm quite starving actually. Thanks man, just set on here." He stated, removing his feet from the table. Noah stood grab another controller then walked into the kitchen. "Want something?" He asked throwing away his empty beer bottle. Tagged:: Jason Status:: Finished Word Count:: 584 Comments:: no worries. mine is a little short.

"Yup." Jason placed the pizza box down, then plopped on the couch right in front of it. He was ready to devour the pizza. He still couldn't believe he was hungry after that sandwich. But hey, he was a growing man. Well not so much, but whatever. He grabbed a controller a placed it by his side. Jase opened up the pizza box and took a slice. He took his first bite and wanted to spit it back out. It was hot as hell. Jason finally managed to swallow the bite. "Cold beer would be great, man. This pizza just burnt my tongue." He called out, really wanting that beer. He figured he would wait for his beer until he took another bite. So, he put the pizza slice down in the box, and picked up the xbox controller. He did everything he could without starting the actual game. Jase sat back on the couch. He put an arm out and got comfortable. He didn't know when they were leaving, but he figured a little later. After they talked, ate, and played some Halo. Sounded good to him. Jason sighed a little. It felt nice to just be relaxing with Noah. Just hanging out, doing nothing. "So, what's up dude? What have I missed?" He asked. He figured in the period of time they hadn't talked, at least something small had happened. Either way, he wanted to hear about it. They needed something to talk about, besides Halo. He attempted to eat his pizza again. It had cooled down, so the next bite wasn't as unbearable. Once Noah came back with his beer, he took a swig and set it down on the table. Then, he started the game up. He made sure his gun was out and ready, then walked around, looking for his target. "I haven't played this game in a while. I'm gonna suck, dude." He said with a little chuckle. He actually owned the game, but he hadn't sat down and played it in a while. It was surprising to him that he hadn't played in such a period of time. Jason and Noah were pretty good friends. They were close friends, and had things in common. Not to mention, they were both players, so they definitely thought alike. They had known each other for a while now, and had just gotten closer as time went on. Jase was glad he had a buddy that he could relate to. Not that they got all sensitive and deep with each other. But just to know you had someone when you needed them was nice. Not that Jason would EVER say this out loud. He liked to keep his manly, tough image strong. So far so good. "So what clubs were you thinking about hitting tonight?" Jason asked, glancing over at Noah but pretty much keeping his vision on the t.v screen. He was already doing bad enough, he didn't need to be looking away for more than a second. He didn't really care where they were going, as long as hot girls would be there, he was all set. notes: sorry this took forever and half. not to mention, prettyyy short.
