character history - - - [/blockquote] [/blockquote]The story starts with Aaron being born to Sadie and Darren Parker. The couple who have been together since they were little kids - believe it or not. Sadie and Darren only met because Darren’s mum; Jane used to work as Sadie’s mums; Aurora assistant. Aurora had her own fashion line, and Jane was her best friend and assistant. That would obviously mean that Sadie and Darren would become the best of friends. They would see each other everyday, and growing up they never spent more than a day away from the other. It was pretty sweet, and both the parents knew that they would end up together someday. The two of them ended up getting married while they were still in high school. Sadie’s parents weren’t so keen on this idea, but Darren’s parents were over the moon. It was only a year later that Aaron was born. As you can tell, that really pissed off Aurora and her husband, Mark. Do you sense a rift between the old friends, Jane and Aurora? Well, that is what happened. Jane and Aurora hated each other once Aaron was born, of course they didn’t hate the sweet little baby boy. Aurora just hated Darren and his family, and Jane just hated Aurora.
Growing up it was going to be really hard for the kid. Both his grandparents were in a little family feud, and he was basically stuck in the middle. Sometimes it felt like they were all trying to win his attention. Aaron even started to hate Aurora as well as many other people. She was really controlling and Aaron had no idea how his mum survived with her all her life. Other than all this crazy hatred in his life, Aaron still managed to get on with it. At high school, he was one of the popular guys. The ones that played on the football team, and well everyone worshipped them. No one really knew what the real Aaron was like though. He wasn’t like those other guys that were full of themselves. All the girls her knew were plastic and the type that would sleep with anyone. Aaron hated people like that. Although there was this one girl who was totally different, her name was Ashlee. There were a lot of things that he didn’t know about her; things that he didn’t really want to know either – the fact that she was a druggie. Aaron knew there was something wrong with her, but he couldn’t tell what it was, and if he did know, then it might have saved her.
Ashlee and Aaron were together for two years, they only went their separate ways because she died. It was the drugs. Aaron still blames himself for her death, but there was nothing he could have done to stop her, especially because he had no idea. To this very day, Aaron is still beating himself up about it, but really all he needs is someone to get over Ashlee. He doesn’t think about her as much, which is good but Aarons friendly personality covers up the guy inside.

Standing outside the club Landon met a few of his mates and started to make his way inside, he stopped and turned to one of them. His name was Evan, and not the most confident out of all his mates, but he was a good enough fighter to stay in his little ‘gang’. The boy must have been around nineteen years old, and boy was he wasting his life by hanging around with Landon. He could have gone to university and got out of this place, Evan was sure enough clever for it. He took the wrong choice though, of course Landon wasn’t going to tell him that he should leave and become a bloody doctor or anything. That was only because he needed as many people on his side as he could get, it wasn’t easy being Landon. There a number of people that hated him, and well he didn’t even blame them. Shrugging slightly he started to open his mouth to order the little boy around again. ”You wait here Evan, lets say you can be the first one to meet the hot girl” He softly said to him as he smirked. He was sure that she wouldn’t find anything great about Evan, which was why he had chosen him for the job to wait for her. It was nearly ten o’clock, so he didn’t need to wait long anyway.
Landon pointed his fingers towards the club and the other guys behind him, they started to follow. It was great being the leader, and Landon loved having control of everything. There had never been a girl yet to tell him what to do. It would always be him telling her what to do. If this red-head decided she would take the lead, then that would be it. Landon wouldn’t take crap from her at all. Truthfully he had no idea what her name was. Sure, Landon remembered her from the other club down the street. Oasis was the name, and well Landon hated that club. It was like the competition, but of course this wasn’t his club either. It was his best mates, Steve. If people thought Landon was bad then they haven’t met Steve at all, because Steve is the worst person to know. Well, to get on the wrong side of Steve and its likely that you’ll end up dead or something. Landon was just lucky that Steve took a liking to him the first time they met. To him, Steve was like his back up, and partly his boss as well.
Walking past the rather large bouncers Landon nodded at them and walked past the crowd of people waiting to get in. Some of them groaned and looked away in disgust. Thinking why was he allowed to get in just like that, and they had to wait out in the cold night. He just smirked as he walked inside, as soon as he was inside the loud music hit his eardrums. Kanye West, ‘Stronger’ was playing and nearly everyone was up on the dance floor. Turning his head he saw Steve walking down the carpeted stairs which were by the bar. These stairs led up to his office that overlooked most of the inside of the club. Steve was a very formal man, always wearing flashy suits, and well he looked like some Italian Gangster. Steve nodded at Landon while he walked over to him and his three mates. ”The new guy is waiting downstairs” Steve informed Landon with a rather creepy smile on his face. Landon smiled and followed Steve to the next set of stars which were well hidden out of the view of the people in the club. A few people knew what went down there, but some were totally oblivious to what was going on.
As he followed Steve, Landon kept his eyes in front of him. The new guy that was going to be fighting did look pretty tough. Landon had met him a while ago when he lived in Albany. His name was something like; Taylor. He couldn’t be sure, but this guy was someone that Landon hated. It was personal. Even though Landon wasn’t going to fighting or anything tonight, he felt the urge to fight Taylor. Frowning he watched the sudden change in the atmosphere. Upstairs it was all loud and people having fun. Down here it was even better than that, people were cheering from all corners of the room. The room that was really huge, a bit bigger than the club itself. Now this was Landon’s place. Smirking he walked over to the drinks and grabbed himself some vodka. A group of girls walked up to him and smiled as they started to flirt and what not. He just stood there as the fight was happening in the centre of the room. The DJ at the top was like the umpire of the game…
