sex and scandal are the two words that seem
to describe washington d.c. as of
lately. cheating spouses, backstabbing
friends and whores are running amok along
the streets, dabbing shamelessly into
mischief and convincing their friends to do
the same. it’s like a chain reaction.
the actors and actresses are dropping like
flies thanks to the drugs floating around their
system as they fuck their way to the top of
the lists of the casting directors. the models
are paper thin and more of them are blacking
out at the end of the runway as the months
progress. soon, there will be no more of
either group to fawn over.
the musicians are having the times of their
lives, trashing hotel rooms and having diva
fits. but, can you blame them? the “curse” of
musicians dying at twenty-seven is really
rearing it’s ugly head, with the death toll at a
shocking seven twenty-seven year olds in the
last six months. they’re all tying up their
loose ends and they’re making sure living
life to its fullest.
the tabloids are proving to be ruthless;
printing anything and everything they catch
and blowing innocent stories out of
proportion, ruining the lives of the
celebrities they write about. the paparazzi
are everywhere and they’re taking every
opportunity to get the perfect shot, which
includes trespassing in some cases. the
stalkers, too. they’re sleeping with some
very high and mighty people to get to the
people they really want. and the stalkers,
they’re proving to be quite murderous if they
don’t get what they want.
the fans are as loyal as ever, going to every
gig, every movie premiere and most have
collections of the autographs they get from
various celebrities around town. they’re the
sanest of the bunch, a step above being a
stalker.
the citizens and students are the victims in
all this, really. they didn’t want their once
charming city of washington d.c. to be
disturbed with all this drama. but, what are
they going to do?
everyone is HOPELESSLY REACHING for
a solution that isn’t coming soon.
